The Wirecard Corporate Card is a convenient and secure payment method for all your business expenses.

Your Wirecard Corporate Card can be used for corporate expenses such as accommodation and travel bookings, at gas stations, for taxi and rental car services, for phone calls, entry tickets and much more.

Your Corporate Card advantages are as following:

  • A 30 day time line to submit your expenses for reimbursement before the amount is charged to your personal bank account

How to Get Started:

  • 1: Proof of Identity

    To proof your identity you will have to present a valid identity card or passport. This can be done by using the PostIdent service from Deutsche Post.

    You find the PostIdent document under ‘Proof of Identity’ when you login in to your personal Wirecard Corporare Card account.

  • 2: Register your Bank Account

    You register your private bank account under ‘My Profile’, and under ´Accounts´ in ‘My Profile’ you find step by step information on how this is done.

    Once you successfully have registered your private bank account, 1 cent will automatically be sent to your bank account in order to validate your bank account.

  • 3: Validate your Bank Account

    Please enter the validation code you received in the ‘Reason for Transfer Field’ under the registered Bank account section. You reach this section after loggin in to your personal Wirecard Corporare Card account. To proceed further you need to have successfully completed the ‘Proof of Identity’ step and then have received a confirmation email.

  • 4: Enable Direct Debit Passthrough

    Login to your Wirecard Corporate Card account to enable Direct Debit Passthrough under ‘Deposit Money’. Select your registered and validated personal bank account from the drop down menu, accept the SEPA Direct Debit mandate and Confirm.

    Subsequently the generate SEPA mandate, Creditor ID and available monthly Credit limit is displayed.

  • 5: Activate your Wirecard Corporate Card and Set your PIN

    Login to your Wirecard Corporate Card account to activate your card under ‘My Card´. Click on ´Activate´and enter the last 4 digits of your card number. Set PIN by clicking on ´Set Card PIN´button.

How can I order the Wirecard Corporate Card? +

The Wirecard Corporate Card can easily be ordered online. After clicking the 'Order Now' link on the Homepage you will be presented with a questionnaire to initiate the issuing of the card. 

Where and for what can I use the Wirecard Corporate Card? +

You can use the Wirecard Corporate Card at any MasterCard acceptance point worldwide and for Cash withdrawal at any ATM with a MasterCard Logo. Your Wirecard Corporate Card can be used for corporate expenses such as accommodation, travel bookings, at gas stations, for taxi and rental car services, for phone calls, entry tickets and much more.

How do I activate the card? +

What do I do if my Wirecard Corporate Card is lost/stolen? +

In case your card is lost or stolen, please call our free international emergency phone number to immediately block any unauthorised usage: 00800 94732270.

What should I do when I have forgotten my card PIN? +

Login to your account to reset your PIN or contact the Wirecard Corporate Card Serviceteam.

For how long is the Wirecard Corporate Card valid? +

The Wirecard Corporate Card is valid 36 months from the date of issuing. You can always look up the issuing date on the front side of your card.

To which bank account will the expenses be charged? +

Upon registration, you would be asked to link a personal bank account to the Wirecard Corporate Card. All expenses on the Wirecard Corporate Card that haven’t been submitted for reimbursement within 30 days will be debited from your personal account.

How do I link my personal bank account to the Wirecard Corporate Card account? +

Follow the instructions in the ´Get Started´ section.

When do I see the transactions on the personal linked bank account? +

Transaction information will appear in your personal bank account after 30 days at the latest. 

Can I use the Wirecard Corporate Card for private expenses? +

The Wirecard Corporate Card is strictly meant for employees travelling for official purposes. However, in cases of emergency private expenses that might arise, you may use the Wirecard Corporate Card. In such cases, the private expenses cannot be reimbursed and will be debited from the linked private bank account. 

How do I fund my Wirecard Corporate Card? +

The Wirecard Corporate Card doesn´t need to be pre-funded. All expenses on the Wirecard Corporate Card that haven’t been submitted for reimbursement within 30 days will be debited from your personal account.

Where is the Wirecard Corporate Card accepted? +

The Wirecard Corporate Card is accepted at any MasterCard acceptance point worldwide and for Cash withdrawal at any ATM with a MasterCard Logo. 

Can the Wirecard Corporate Card be used for contactless payments? +

Currently the Wirecard Corporate Card doesn´t support contactless payments. However, we hope to add that and many more useful features in the near future to make your business travels easier.

What are your duties and responsibilities as a Wirecard Corporate Card holder? +

As a Wirecard Corporate Card holder you need to link to your personal bank account. You also need to submit your travel expense in a timely fashion (within 30 days).

You also need to ensure that your personal data (address, phone number, bank account etc.) is correct and up to date.
